David McGee is professor of physics. He teaches modern physics and advanced laboratory courses, and his research is on photonics. Prior to TCNJ he worked in the laser and aerospace industry and held visiting positions at the US Naval Research Lab and Bell Labs-Lucent Technologies. His research has been funded by the Research Corporation, National Science Foundation, Department of Energy, the German Academic Exchange Service, and the Fulbright Scholar program. His present research is on optical microstructures for diffractive optics, in collaboration with Berlin Institute of Technology (BHT), University of Potsdam (Germany), and University of Naples (Italy). He also represents TCNJ in the Advancing Photonics Technologies (APT) consortium centered at Princeton University.
